DISCUSSION A: The calculator client engine consists
of a shared executable file named "calculator.exe",
which may be redistributed by third parties in one
of the following cases:
- Cloanto designed a custom calculator for
a customer, who deployed it or made it available
to its own customers, website visitors, etc.
- A media agency or other developers used
Cloanto's Calculator
Builder package to build and publish a custom
calculator.
Software Director as distributed by Cloanto or by the
publisher of the calculator can detect an installed
calculator client engine and offer an upgrade, if
available. Such an upgrade does not affect any customized
features of the calculator, but only the core software
engine.
Cloanto's SkinCalc,
WorldCalc and
Euro Calculator
also use the same engine, however for these distributions
Software Director is able to recognize and list the
specific package title.
