Q: When Check for Updates is selected in the player
menu, a "Runtime Error" dialog appears.
DISCUSSION
A: This error may occur after upgrading to Amiga Forever
2008 when a previous version of Amiga Forever was installed. In
some cases, a required DLL file is removed by the installation,
and the reinstallation fails.
To resolve the error, launch the installer again, and select
the Repair option.
If you prefer, you may install the standalone version of
Software Director from
www.softwaredirector.com. This will also solve the problem.
